Yianni
Lead Vocals and Percussion
Yianni’s vocal control allows him to sing any type of Greek song from Parios to Dionysiou to Terzis. Along
with his soothing yet strong voice, Yianni’s charm adds to his popularity with the young and old. Yianni has
been performing professionally for over thirty years including tours throughout the United States and Greece.
Harry Karapalides
Bouzouki, Keyboards, and Background Vocals
Harry performs on the bouzouki, keyboards, and is the master of ceremonies for the band. His passion for
Greek music is expressed is all his own. He has written many songs which have won awards including the
International Song Writer’s Competition in California. Harry has performed with the Orpheus band from 1974
to 1981 and the Adelphia band from 1982 to 1985.
Mike Fanourgakis
Drums, Percussion, Lead and Background Vocals
Mike is the percussionist/drummer of the band, with some lead vocals in American music. His virtuosity on the
drums contributes to the band’s powerful sound. Mike is the “entertainer” of the band and watching him
perform is as fun as dancing to the music. Mike also performed with the Adelphia band from 1976 to 1985.
Popi Karapalides
Lead Vocals, Background Vocals, and Percussion
Popi is the lead singer for most of the American music.  Her robust and forceful voice allows her to sing all
styles of music from jazz standards to today's top 40 music.  In addition, she sings the background vocals on
all of the Greek music for Yianni and provides lead vocal on some of the Greek songs.
Ted Karapalides
Guitar, Keyboards, Background Vocals
Performing on the guitar and keyboards, Ted is a flexible musician who shows his talents by playing melodic
harmonies on the guitar along with the bouzouki. Ted arranges all of the American music for the band and is
the “computer whiz” of the group, which is an integral part of modern music.  Ted graduated from Rowan
University with a degree in Music.
George Livanos
Bass, Lead and Background Vocals
George performs on the four and six-string basses and back up vocals. He provides a strong rhythmic and
melodic sound from the bass and can also double on every instrument played in the band. Schooled in jazz
and raised in a Greek-American family listening to Greek music, George has blended the two diverse styles
of music into a style of his own. He also performed with Orpheus band from 1977 to 1981.
